Nilufar Irgashevna Karimovaa*, Furkat Mukhitdinovich Shamsieva
ABSTRACT: The aim of the study was to determine the state of the immune and cytokine status
in chronic bronchitis in children. The results of the study showed that chronic bronchitis occurs
in 10.4% of the total number of children with bronchopulmonary pathology and develops against
the background of unfavorable perinatal factors, concomitant and past diseases affecting the
development, course and outcome of the disease. The clinical picture and course of chronic
bronchitis depend on the nature and degree of bronchial damage. The data obtained by us on the
indicators of the immune status in different age groups in children with chronic bronchitis
indicate suppression of indicators of cellular immunity and phagocytosis of neutrophils,
activation of the humoral link of immunity, the most informative diagnostic markers of chronic
diseases of the lower respiratory tract in children, manifested by overproduction of pro- and
anti-inflammatory cytokines indicating chronic inflammation.
