Analysis of the effectiveness and safety of anticoagulant therapy in patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities

ABSTRACT: The paper presents the comparative results of anticoagulant therapy in the
treatment of patients with deep vein thrombosis of the lover extremities. Тhе patients are divided
into 2 groups. In the first group, patients received warfarin, in the second, the new oral
anticoagulant- rivaroxaban.
The analysis of the results of examination and treatment of 128 patients with acute DVT who
were treated in the emergency surgery departments of the Bukhara branch of the RSCEMP in
Bukhara in 2018-2021 was carried out. There were 82 (64.1%) men, 46 (35.9%) women, the age of
the patients ranged from 18 to 75 years (mean age 57.4 ± 1.2 years). The average duration of the
disease before admission was 8.7 ± 1.4 days. The criteria for inclusion in the studies were:
unilateral or bilateral acute DVT of the lower extremities with involvement of the proximal veins,
confirmed by instrumental imaging methods; the age of the patients is over 18 years old; the
duration of the disease is not more than 2 weeks; signed informed consent of the patient to
participate in the study.
