Features of the circulation of the influenza virus in the conditions of a pandemic

ABSTRACT:     The article is a brief review of the literature, which summarizes information about studies of the influenza virus and its circulation during the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights the issues of interference of the SARSCoV -2 with influenza viruses and their mutual influence on each other. The analysis of cases of influenza virus infection indicates the existence of a threat of deterioration of the epidemic situation, which requires careful monitoring of the pathogen circulation, especially during the period of "imaginary well-being", timely specific prevention in risk groups and early effective antiviral therapy.
